We are looking for a temporary Administrator / Data Entry Assistant to join our client based in Southampton. The role is to work within a busy logistics team and will give you good exposure to a growing, international company. The responsibilities of the position will include tracking down and collating data and then imputing this onto several systems, maintaining 100% accuracy.
Please note as this is a temporary assignment and you will need to be available to start by mid October and commit to the role until the end of the year. There may be opportunities for this to be extended or there may even be permanent roles for the right person.
This is a busy role in an established logistics team, with a varied range of duties including:
- Logging of data relating to inbound shipments
- Matching item codes against orders
- Chasing internally and externally to ensure data is provided and correct
- Additional ad-hoc administrative duties
The Ideal Candidate
You will have some office based administration experience, and be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail. You will need to be organised and pro-active in your approach. You should be able to work on your own initiative and to strict deadlines. You may be asked to help in other areas outside of your remit so you must have a flexible attitude towards this.
This role could also suit a recent graduate looking to gain office based experience.
