Administrator – Rural Location

Job Description

Rare opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a rural setting to join successful family run company which is part of a £40m turnover group.  Office based but not deskbound all the time so will suit someone who likes to be hand on and enjoys a wide variety of tasks.

The Role

You will be part of a small team of 4 with approximately 20% of your time out and about

  • Taking, checking and processing orders
  • Raw material ordering with suppliers
  • Matching deliveries received with orders and checking in deliveries
  • Collecting samples of deliveries to check for quality
  • Other varied administration tasks and handling some queries by telephone

  • Happy working in an agricultural setting rather than a corporate office
  • Flexible and willing nature with right attitude
  • Desire to offer excellent customer service – everyone who works there is passionate about the company
  • Keen to learn and grow with the business
  • Ability to cope with changing demands
