Job Description

A successful and expanding company based in Southampton is looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. You will be working within a small team and will be responsible for a variety of admin tasks, you will need to have an excellent telephone manner and an upbeat personality as you will be handling customer queries, keeping them updated and following things through.  You will enter orders and process them on the system. You will also co-ordinate despatch of goods and produce the associated paperwork. This role is based near to Southampton and the company offer free parking.  This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for someone to join a company that is expanding where you can be part of a small and growing team.

The Role

This will be a busy administration based role full of variety as each and every customer has a different requirement.  You will be speaking to customers over the telephone with regards to orders and entering them onto them system. Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders accurately
  • Answering general enquires from customers
  • Organising and arranging the dispatch of orders
  • Answering the telephone
  • Inputting information on the system
  • Processing finance details

The Ideal Candidate

For this role it is essential that you have previous administration experience as well as having good customer service skills. You will need to be able to juggle a variety of tasks and enjoy working in a small team. You will be required to work on your own initiative, must have good keyboard skills and an excellent telephone manner.  You will need to genuinely care about your customers and want to deliver the highest level of customer care.  You will need to be confident with administration, be organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.
