Customer Service Co-ordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to work for a small team in a friendly, national company.  This is a very busy role, in which you will be dealing with customer enquiries through email and telephone, ensuring they receive excellent levels of customer service at the start of their customer journey.  You will be required to carry out Admin as well as dealing with Customers and you must enjoy taking ownership for your work. You will have a track record of high levels of customer service and have excellent verbal and written skills.  Although this is not a call centre role, a background working in a contact centre is a distinct advantage.


The Role

This is a great role for someone who enjoys a busy all round customer service role! You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Managing emails and phone calls quickly and effectively
  • Processing a high volume of requests
  • Providing customers with relevant guidance
  • Ensuring necessary information is obtained accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Working towards KPI’s agreed with your line manager


The Ideal Candidate

In order to be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working within a customer service role.  Coming from call centre background would be a distinct advantage but not essential.  You must be organised, confident and professional in your approach and need to have a friendly, personable and welcoming manner.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a small team are vital.  You must also be able to manage and maintain information successfully and pay good attention to detail.  The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Microsoft programs and have the ability to capture data accurately.
