Our client, based in the Parkstone area, is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small but growing team. This is a varied role that requires someone who is happy to turn their hand to a number of tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys accounts work and wants to gain further experience in a really interesting all round role.

As you gain more experience the job role will grow and you will take more responsibility for the process. This is the type of role where there will be lots of opportunities to develop over time and play a key role in the company’s growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working within an accounts based role. Your duties will involve:
· Processing invoices
· Credit control
· Maintain accurate records on the sales ledger
· Updating spreadsheets and databases to pass to external accountants
· Reconciliation of accounts
· Ad hoc administration/customer service duties as and when required
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be confident and outgoing with a friendly and positive approach. To be successful in this position, you will need to have previous experience working in a finance/ accounts role. You will need to be a team player who is happy taking on a variety of tasks. You will need to enjoy being busy and be able to work using your own initiative. It is essential that you have a high attention to detail.
