Job Description

A highly successful and friendly company in Southampton is looking to recruit a Graduate Executive Assistant to support the Directors.  This role would suit an outgoing individual who is keen to gain experience working at the highest level within a Global business. This is a varied role where you will be supporting the Directors on a day to day basis as well as carrying out exciting projects to support the team in meeting their objectives.

The role

This is a busy and varied role where you will be supporting the Groups Board of Directors within this International Company. You will be required to provide day to day support for the Directors to enable them to ensure that company goals and objectives are met. You will work across all areas of the business including Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations and Logistics. Day to day duties will include planning events, coordinating schedules, special projects such as researching opportunities of interest to the group and putting together presentations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to gain exposure at the highest level and wants to develop their career.

The ideal candidate

This is a great role for someone with exceptional communication skills who takes pride in their work and is conscientious and reliable.  You will need to be proactive, able to multi-task and capable of making a decision using your own initiative.  Previous office based administration experience is essential as is the ability to liaise with people at all levels.  You must have excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and be a strong enough character to work supporting a team of Directors.   You will need to be keen to learn and capable of seeing tasks through to completion adapting when necessary.  You will be privy to a large amount of confidential information so it is vital that you are discrete and understand the need for confidentiality.  The ability to speak German as well as English is a distinct advantage!
