Job Description

Are you keen to gain experience in HR?  This is a great role working for a large school/college, it is busy and rewarding, covering a period until a permanent appointment is made.  You will have the opportunity to apply for the permanent role, or can just treat it as interim.  The job will give you fantastic HR Administration exposure.  The role starts on 8th April.

The role

This HR Administrator temp role will give exposure within the HR department, perfect if you are wanting to develop a career within HR.  Some of the key objectives are as follows:

  • Be the first point of contact for administrative and straightforward HR Policy and Procedure queries
  • Recording absence daily, taking messages from the answerphone and passing the messages on and logging into the system
  • Monitor the HR email inbox and pass to the relevant team member
  • Writing up and sending offer letters, applying for references and helping to co-ordinate onboarding paperwork for payroll
  • Assist the Recruitment co-ordinator with administration relating to recruitment

The ideal candidate
This is a busy environment and small team so you need to be a good team player, and keen to develop a career within HR.  You will work hard and get involved in lots of administrative tasks relating to HR.  The Organisation is fantastic - as you can imagine given this is Education, the team genuinely wants to support and guide and offer a positive employee experience.  The target start date is 8th April.
