Job Description

A well known and successful company based in Southampton is looking to recruit a confident administrator to join a small, friendly and supportive HR team. You will be working within a small team who are responsible for HR and Facilities support.  They can be slightly flexible with hours, anything from 32.5 hours to 40 hours a week would work for them.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an administrative background looking to build a career within HR. 

The Role

This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for providing support to a number of key areas of the business including HR, Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental.  Your role will include general HR admin, answering the phone, dealing with visitors, ordering office stock and other ad hoc tasks.  You will liaise with a wide range of people within the organisation.  This is an excellent opportunity to get into an HR role and learn how systems and processes work.

The Ideal Candidate

No previous experience in HR is required although an interest in it would be a distinct advantage.  This role would suit someone with a positive nature who is good at multitasking, able to work with tight deadlines and is happy helping out the team wherever necessary.  Ideally you will be comfortable using different computer systems although full training will be provided. Attention to detail is vital for this role along with an ability to work with a level of confidentiality.

Additional Information

The salary advertised is based on full time hours; they are willing to consider full or part time hours (Minimum of 32.5 hours a week)
