Logistics Administrator

Job Description

Our client, an international company with a well recognised and well respected brand is looking for a good administrator to work within their Logistics team. You will be working in a busy department within a small team where you will be required to unpack deliveries and log the contents on the system. This role will require a good attention to detail and confident data entry skills. You will also be required to answer the intercom system when people visit the building so will need a confident telephone manner.

The role

This is a busy role where you will be required to unpack deliveries (small, fragile items), ensuring that customer procedures are adhered to and log the details on the company database. Attention to detail and working with care are highly important. You will also be required to deal with outgoing post including packing and dispatching products, sometimes involving distribution to Europe You will be working within a small team and must enjoy repetitive work as well as a mixture of administration and manual work.

The ideal candidate

Previous experience in a similar role is ideal but they will also consider someone who has retail stock room or warehouse experience. You will need to have good levels of concentration and have a good eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are vital. The ability to work to strict deadlines is essential. You need to be IT Literate and enjoy being busy.

Working hours are 37.5 hours Monday - Friday and there is free parking.
