Job Description

A leading professional services company on the outskirts of Southampton is looking to recruit an administrator within the Finance team.  You will be working as part of a small, friendly team.

Hours are 22.5 - 25 per week with flexibility on work pattern.  Office based while you learn the role and opportunity for hybrid afterwards if you wish.

Job Role

This is a busy accounts team and you will assist the team in the processing and paying of incoming invoices.  You will be validating received invoices against purchase orders, processing them through the system, gaining authorisations, paying the invoices and reconciling accounts.  You will be busy and the work will be varied.  Full training will be given.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential is that you have excellent attention to detail and good computer skills.  You need to be organised and be able to cope with a level of repetition.  To do the job well you need to have a good eye for spotting anything that doesn’t look right and then challenging it with the relevant person in the team.  Given this is a small team, although you’re in a standalone role you need to work really well with others and have a helpful nature.
