We are looking for a driven and capable individual to join a well respected global company in their Southampton office. This is a busy role where you will be working within the Bid Team responsible for the smooth running of bids and tender projects. This is a varied role where you will be required to take ownership of projects and ensure need to be professional in your approach and understand the importance of providing excellent administration support within a customer facing team. You will have contact with both clients and suppliers and must be confident dealing with people at all levels. The office atmosphere is very professional but relaxed at the same time. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a small team.
This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for supporting the project bid team. You will be the glue that holds the team together. You will need to take ownership of project databases, keep a track of proposal documentation and will assist in preparing proposal documentation. You will be required to use the standard Microsoft packages so must have ability in this area. There will be lots of autonomy within the role so you can really take ownership for your work.
The ideal candidate
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have exceptional communication and administration skills. You will need to be able to pick things up quickly and have a good level of computer literacy. Accuracy is a vital in this position so you will need a keen eye for detail. It is also vital that you can manage your own workload and multi – task when necessary.
