Job Description

Our client, an International company is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join their Southampton office.  This is a great role for someone who is looking for a busy varied position; in addition to manning reception you will also be providing general administrative support to the team.  You will have a confident, friendly manner and have a “can do” attitude.


The Role

This is a varied role that will suit somebody who likes to be kept busy and has a flexible approach to their work.  Your duties will include the following:


  • To cover Reception, including dealing with incoming telephone calls and welcoming visitors into the office
  • Sorting and distributing incoming post as well as ensuring outgoing post is franked and collated in time for collection
  • Ensure that visitors are looked after and arrange refreshments or lunches when required
  • Assisting with general administrative duties


Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, be highly organised and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable is essential.  You will need experience of working in a reception role and be able to demonstrate capability with administrative tasks.  Most importantly, you will have a warm and friendly manner and enjoy dealing with people.
