Job Description

A very well established and successful business, part of a £40m turnover Group of companies, is recruiting a Sales Co-ordinator to join the company.  The company is the biggest supplier in their sector, and are still a privately owned, family business.  This is a fantastic varied role that you can really make your own.

The Role
This job is working as part of a small team in the office doing a wide variety of sales coordination tasks.  You will need to take ownership for your work to ensure that the customer orders are processed and delivered effectively.  You will be involved in event planning, ordering goods, dealing with customers, after care calls, updating spreadsheets, organising lunches, supporting the director and many other tasks.  It really is a fantastic role that you can make your own.

The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role the most important thing is having the right ‘attitude’.  It’s a small team in a family run company so you really do have to care about what you do - everybody who works for the company is really passionate about the service they provide to customers.  Being keen to learn and grow with the organisation over time will be encouraged.  Core skills are an ability to think dynamically and be flexible to consider lots of variables when dealing with customers.   Due to location, you will also need to own a car as public transport links are poor.
