We are looking for a Sales Administrator with an amazing customer focus to work for a successful company in Romsey. This is a busy and varied role where you will be supporting the sales team with their day to day activities. You will be required to build relationships with customers and handle customer purchase orders and quotes. You must be self motivated and pro-active with an excellent telephone manner and a high attention to detail.
The role
This is very much a sales support role where you will be the primary point of contact for new customer enquiries. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience, taking and processing orders and dealing with queries with regards to customer accounts. You will also be required to deal with delivery issues, follow up quotes and co-ordinate shipments. There is also a large amount of administration within the role that requires a good attention to detail. It is a busy role and at times you will need to juggle a number of different tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing an excellent level of service and who wants to work for a small company where you can make a difference.
The ideal candidate
In order to be considered for this role, you will have previous office based customer service or sales administration experience. You must be pro-active and confident with a professional approach and need to have a friendly, personable and welcoming manner. Accurate keyboard skills are essential as you will be handling customer orders. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a small team are also vital. The working environment is relaxed but busy and you will need to enjoy working under pressure.
