Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trainee Account Manager to work with their international clients. You will be responsible for managing key accounts and providing a point of contact for any orders or queries they may have. You will need to have strong communication skills and commercial relationship management experience is ideal. This is not a sales role; it is a client focused role where you will be maintaining existing business relationships. This will involve supporting the sales team to help fulfill orders once placed ensuring a top level service at all times. The Role

Working as a member of the team, this is very much a busy trainee role. You will need to ensure that you maximize revenue from your account and provide a first class service to the customers. You will need to take responsibility for the customers and ensure that their needs are met on every level; this will include building strong relationships with clients.

Your duties will include:

· Being a primary point of contact for your customers

· Managing your customers order books and negotiating priorities with internal supply chain

· Investigating and resolving invoice dispute

· Assisting with processing orders or offering updates on existing orders

· Working closely with internal teams to ensure that SLAs are met

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you must be able to work effectively to deadlines and be good at problem solving. Industry experience is not essential as they will provide you with full product training but you must be able to understand technical information. Attention to detail is essential as are strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be very customer focused with a commercial mind and have the ability to build relationships with key customers. You must be confident working independently and in a team.
