Job Description

We are looking for a trainee to join a well established company in central Southampton. This is a very busy role where you will be working with several departments who are responsible for the financial management of large contracts with some of the UK’s best known companies/organisations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a career within a progressive professional company. Full training will be provided within this highly respected business. You will need to be a team player, confident challenging and influencing others, have a high level of attention to detail and a strong desire to succeed.

The Role

This will be based within the company’s office in Southampton and can be home based part of the time too. It will be a varied role and it is a great opportunity to learn the different aspects of the company and wider positions. Your duties will include:

·Management of client database

·Processing of financial information

·Producing numerical calculations

·Dealing with enquiries from clients and external agencies

·Ensuring that commercial and financial packs are compiled correctly

·Communicating with all levels of the business

·Updating of spreadsheets and analysing of numerical information

·Helping out other teams when required

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally need to be educated to degree level or equivalent. In order to be considered for this role you will have a desire to learn, have excellent analytical skills and good attention to detail. You must be confident with communicating at all levels of the business and be able to work under pressure.

You might be a graduate with at least one year’s work experience within an office, who is looking to start their career within a commercial/financial, environment.
