Job Description

We are looking for a Bid Manager to join a well respected Electrical company in their Southampton office. This is a busy role where you will be working with the Sales team and will be responsible for the smooth running of bids as well as quotes and enquiries. This role would suit someone with previous experience in the Electrical industry. The company offer a professional yet relaxed working environment.

The Role

This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for providing a first-class service to the customer base. This will include all aspects of sales, customer service and technical support, in both reactive and pro-active communications. In the main you will be responsible for providing quotes for large projects in order to win the business.  You will also be required to respond to sales enquiries and provide a high level of customer support.


The ideal candidate

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have previous experience within the Electrical industry, ideally in a Branch Management or Sales related role. You will also need exceptional communication, relationship building and organisation skills. The successful candidate will have previously managed their own workload and taken ownership for their work. It is vital that you can work to deadlines and have a good level of computer literacy.
